The Ruhr Network: Enroll in one university, get three
The Ruhr area is Germany's largest academic hub, made of the 3 large universities of Dortmund, Duisburg-Essen, and Bochum, located along the Ruhr River, within 20 minutes of one another via tram/ subway.
When you enroll at one university you are given access to all three universities, via the ConRuhr alliance. All 3 universities use the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS), which is compatibile with the US credit system.
The Ruhr area is strongly connected to business and industry, with 8 of Germany's most important companies headquarted here. Our universities emphasize practical, hands-on training and internship possibilities.
